Specialist Fabrications
by Nick Hobbs on July 16, 2019Bespoke vented ridge, manufactured to our customer’s specifications. Fabricated from 2mm thick mild steel, we rolled the tubes to a 100mm diameter. We then cut the holes in the required length of sheet metal- 2.2mm long. We pressed the sheet to the required ridge angle, and welded each tube into place.
The item was then sent to be hot dipped galvanised, and then powder coated. We can powder coat to any RAL number, depending on minimum order quantities.

LVD DynaPress Delivery
by Nick Hobbs on November 19, 2018In October we took delivery of a new LVD DynaPress and it is already proving a hit. The DynaPress is electronically driven so it is extremely fast and ideal for making the many small components that we are currently having to use our larger 3m and 4m presses to manufacture.

by Nick Hobbs on March 19, 2018Our sister company, Southern Sheeting, requested some wind bar weights to place on top of their packs of steel roof sheets to stop them blowing off the racks during strong winds. Made from 4 and 6mm thick mild steel and wet painted yellow. They should do their intended job. Here are the second batch ready for delivery.
